本系「生醫工程與環境科學系」於去年2023年2月提出申請系更名一案(說明會資料)。

經校內共識討論後，將申請計畫書中原本欲更系名「生物醫學工程學系」，修改為「生醫工程學系」遞件申請，英文新系名為「Department of Biomedical Science and Engineering」。此修正需取得各位支持，因此作此問卷調查。

Dear alumni, students, faculty, and staff,

Our Department of “Biomedical Engineering and Environmental Sciences (BMES)” submitted a proposal for a Department name change in February, 2023 (Ref: the Briefing). 

After discussions and consensus within the university, we have decided to modify our original proposal to change the Department name in Chinese from「生物醫學工程學系」to 「生醫工程學系」while the proposed English name remains as 「Department of Biomedical Science and Engineering」. This amendment requires your support, which is why we are conducting this questionnaire survey. This amendment requires your support, so we are conducting this questionnaire survey.
