Amit Kumar is currently appointed as Research Assistant Professor at National Creative Research Initiative Center for Nanospace-Confined Chemical Reactions, Department of Chemistry, POSTECH, Korea where he is working on catalytic nanoreactors and their applications in biorthogonal catalysis. Amit received his PhD (2009) from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) in organic synthesis and catalysis followed by post-doctoral research at City University of New York, USA (209-2010) investigating the metal-catalyzed reactions and at Seoul National University (SNU), Korea (2011-2017) developing plasmonically engineered nanoprobes for SERS, bioimaging and phototherapy.
