Staff and students who have been to or transit in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao within 14 days, please, after returning to Taiwan, take initiative to report online "NTHU Division of Health Services Survey on Epidemics.(20200205)

For all the NTHU faculty, staff and students who have been to or transit in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao within fourteen days, please, after returning to Taiwan, take initiative to report online “NTHU Division of Health Services Survey on Epidemics”(http://0rz.tw/kZFPt) and screen your own health status, taking temperature regularly and keep reports updated for fourteen days.

A. All NTHU faculty, staff, and students returning from or transit in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao whether having symptoms or not, please monitor body temperature for 14 days in the morning and evening, and make a report on the NTHU Website for Disease Control (http://0rz.tw/kZFPt) to notify the school health system, wear surgical masks and avoid entering or exiting public places. Thank you for your cooperation.

B. Please wear mask rest in your bedroom, and avoid entering or exiting public places minimize contact with others. Wash your hands with soap regularly, cover your nose and mouth with your sleeve when coughing and sneezing. Do not share personal goods with others, and using bleach to clean environment. Keep well personal hygiene habits. If returning from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, or contact with 2019 new coronavirus (2019nCoV) and with fever or flu-like symptoms (such as fever>37.5℃, cough, running nose, sore throat, etc.), please notify the school health systems by calling Division of Health Service 03-5743000 (during office hours) or Division of Student Affairs 03-5711814 (off-work time). Division of Health Service or Division of Student Affairs will help you to call 1922 for the next instructions for hospitalization and treatment.

C.Notice for your health protect

In case of fever or flu-like symptoms (such as fever>37.5℃ , cough, etc.),
i. when arrival: please inform quarantine officers at the airport/ port immediately.
ii. at home: Please dial 1922 to obtain instruction on seeking medical attention.
iii. notify the school health systems by calling Division of Health Service 03-5743000 (during office hours) or Division of Student Affairs 03-5711814 (off-work time).

D. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or your sleeve when coughing and sneezing

E. Continue to wear a mask if respiratory symptoms occur.

F. It’s required to disinfect the environment with diluted bleach. Single exit is expected and everyone should take temperature. If any fever occurs, please inform us.

G. Suggestion for environment disinfection:

i. For environment such as desks and chairs in the classroom, furniture, cook, etc, 1:100 diluted bleach (500 ppm) is recommended for disinfection.
ii. For bathroom or the surface of toilet, 1:10 diluted bleach (500 ppm) is recommended for disinfection.
iii. It’s advised to disinfect the environment at least once a day and use the bleach made that day.
iv. Maintain well cleansed and ventilated indoors.
